During the summer, families typically take family vacations! Here are just a few tips for planning ahead when traveling with young children!
- Speak with a travel agent who is child-friendly. He/she will most likely have knowledge of child-friendly accommodations and airlines.
- If two parents are traveling with children on a bus or an airplane, consider sitting apart. This way, one parent can nap while the other spends time with the children and vice versa.
- If traveling by plane, prepare your departure cards or print your boarding passes at home to save time at the airport.
- If you are parents, be sure to clearly distinguish which responsibilities each of you will be responsible for to ensure your travels run smoothly.
